Croppin' all weekend!! AND More JC8 Delicious--ness!

I had a SUPER-DUPER FUN weekend!!!
My LSS had a crop this weekend that went Friday and Saturday night and OMWord!! I had a BALL!

I was SO excited to be there Friday night and chatted with SO many girls that my throat was sore from all the talking I did. (If you were there, you can stop laughing now! ;) )I made good use of the provided snacks and the store that as packed up and relocated there briefly and actually got TWO LOs done the next day!!!! LOL. WHY do I bother bringing supplies!!??

(YES!! I am enjoying it THAT much!)

If you love color, then you will LOVE this kit!! And BTW.. if you haven't played with JBS paper yet, you MUST!!

'Bowl Fan'

Is this done?? I am undecided. I used scraps from my [url=http://www.justcre8.com/kits/2009/may/may09cp.html] May creative Pack [/url] to do this LO (which is my second attempt with these pics, btw..) and I feel like it needs something else-but I am not sure.




This is a card I did with my scraps as well (I mean I SERIOUSLY LOVE this kit!).
I made the die cut-looking paper by tracing the BoBunny clear frames that came with it and then cutting/stitching them.

THIS is a pic of my Lil Sis & her cutie patootie BF at their winter formal.
All items from the may 09 CP EXCEPT:
Dots all Around Template (store)
JB sticker & Rubon from March 09 SP
Chipboard Heart from April 09 SP

I used the VersaMark pen and the Dots All Around Template and just filled in the dots for an easy watermark effect.



I used the Versamark pen again on the chipboard heart and freehand drew some designs.
I then used the Zing from the CP Kit and embossed it.

All Grunged up (new LO)

I scrapped with 'The Girls' last Friday night (which just ends up usually as ALOT of girl talk for MOI). I NEVER finish a LO in one sitting with 'The Girls' so I finished this one up yesterday. It is VERY grungy for me (Cardboard, masking tape, black paint & staples) , but I felt like stepping out of my 'scrappy box' and doing something a bit different. Not sure how I am feeling about it. I think I have a love/hate relationship with it. ;)

SO... You know how DH bought me the most FABULOUS camera for C-mas... I couldn't really figure out WHAT I was doing with it, then the memory card died.. I got frustrated and put it away. DH got me a NEW memory card but I was still putting it off. Jessi's new photography challenge at http://www.justcre8.com/ got me inspired to try again (Thanks, Jessi!!!) So... This is what I photographed this AM. I LOVE it! (I am sure technically there is ALOT that could be better about it, but I am happy for my first try!) Thanks for letting me share! (off to find something red now for the challenge now)

OK my TWO favorite shows are HOUSE & LOST.

I watched House Monday night and 'OMG! They killed Kutner!!!' (said in my best South Park STan voice) I EQUALLY Loved/Hated the way they did it. It sucked that they just THREW it out there without warning (fans are in an uproar) BUT BUT BUT THIS really IS the reason I LOVE this show so much! They are CONSTANTLY surprising me with their dry-wit, interesting characters and the cast is STELLAR. SO while I think it is rotten to throw it all out there-BOOM! with no warning, I applaud the writers and cast for a flawlessly executed exit of a very beloved character (and for simutaneously SHOCKING the pants off me.)

RIP, Kutner. Congrats on your new job in the West Wing, Kal Penn :)
