(And a class giveaway!)
There are online classes for everything these days, and Shimelle has been teaching online scrapbooking classes for years - but she's decided it's time to kick it up a bit and go from online class to a four-week online party, and you're invited. Pretty Paper Party is the party to attend if you have a collection of paper stacked up for a rainy day, if you have more scraps of paper than you know what to do with (but you know you don't want to throw them away!) and if you've ever put a piece of paper back in your stash because it was just too special for the photos at hand. Through printable prompts and tutorial videos, Shimelle and dozens of special party guests will share beautiful and innovative techniques you can achieve with the paper you have already collected.
Can you imagine how stoked I was to be asked as a Special Party Guest?!! The below sneak is part of my layout which is being included in the class. And Shimelle generously told me that I could invite one of you to the Party!!
The class started on Monday, but as with any good party, it's okay to arrive fashionably late. The class has no deadlines and everyone receives permanent access to all the class materials, so anyone can RSVP to the party at any time! Just leave me a comment on this post telling me your favorite paper crafting go-to technique (along with your email addy, so we can email your access info ASAP). You have until midnight tonight EST!

My fave go to technique is sewing on my layouts. Even when I go to a crop I usually take my machine along with me. :)

awesome layout!! love to sew on ine too!!
This class looks like such a great idea! Who doesn't have stacks of paper? LOL
I love fussy-cutting because I can add detail and dimension to my projects, even if I just have paper to work with.

Misting is my technique of the moment!
I would love to attend!! I have been eyeing this class!
Would love to win a seat in Shimelle's party! My favorite technique right now, which is on oldie but a goodie, is distressing the edges of my paper!

I don't know if its considered a technique, but I love journaling on strips of paper and using any and all sorts of bling!
Flowers, buttons and ribbon are always my go to items it seems!
