We played dress up for a bit this afternoon with some hats I picked up at the local Dollar Store.

These were just too fun not too share.
Happy EARLY Halloween!

Imaginisce deliciousness.

Have you ever had a paper you loved SO MUCH, you didn't want to use it? That's what has happened here. I have had the following beautiful floral papers for over TWO years (this is back in the day when I didn't buy 2 of the same sheet and was afraid to use it for fear of ruining it-LOL) I was able to mix this older line with the newer Twitterpated line (the small items you see cut out). And I LOVE how this floral pattern looks. Who says you can't use flowers on a 'boy' page!?

* * * * * * * * * * * * *
Supplies: All items Imaginisce EXCEPT: cardstock (prism & bazzill), alphas from Michael's, Paint from $1.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I liked the flowers on the previous page SO MUCH in fact, I used the excess I trimmed when making my pattern paper shape and used it to frame THIS LO. I took extra care when cutting out the flowers from another sheet of pattern paper and added them as an element here. I found the alphas were getting lost on my LO, so I ran a light stitch over them.

Supplies: Kraft CS-The Paper Company, papers-Imaginisce, buttons-from stash, alphas-Am. Crafts.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
This last LO is a re-do (I know so many people dead-set against it but REALLY this one NEEDED to be re-done!) I had a great time shaping my paper (I trace my interesting die cut shapes on a piece of thin chipboard-usually something you get off the back of a paper pack, cut them and then use as needed). I cut my cute little embellies from pieces of paper and pop dotted them for dimension. I then stitched several pieces before adhering for added interest and finished off with some bling. I am WAY happier with this LO and I put a SERIOUS dent in my stash with it! woohoo!

Supplies:cardstock-Bazzill, papers-ALL Imaginisce, buttons-stash, bling-Imaginisce & unknown, border punch-Martha Stewart, alphas-Scenic Route
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This last item is just a simple card. I made my die cut border with a new punch, backed it with contrasting cardstock & then hand cut around it. I next added a punched border, a simple bow and circle punched sentiment. I cut the cute penguins at the bottom from pp, inked and pop dotted them. Easy peasy!

Supplies: Cardstock-scalloped swiss-dot Bazzill , papers-Imaginisce, penguins/sentiment-Imaginisce, ribbon-unknown, border punches-Martha Stewart.

Have a Happy Monday!

YIKES. Some MUCH needed updating.

I can't believe how long it's been since I have updated this thing. YIKES. I have been plenty busy scrapping but unfortunately it's ALL DT stuff-so I can't share-yet ;) .
First and foremost, I have to say WOW. I had THE BEST weekend (despite the amount of crazy-bad rain we got!) I went to LCOMs very first CROP this weekend and got to spend two days with some of my FAVORITE people ever! We laughed, we shopped, we laughed, we ATE, we laughed some MORE and we caused a commotion at the local Michael's (we even got a bit of scrapping in!). My hat goes off to Tanya, aka. Tinkerbell this weekend. She pulled off an AMAZING event (from doing her own catering, to hand making the take-out goodie boxes, to bringing FABULOUS scrappy goodies and making sure to stop by and chat with everyone to boot! I will NEVER ubderstand how she literally does it ALL!!!) Thank you again, Tinkie for hosting such a FAB event!
***********************************************************
BUT I can share a couple of peeks with you ;)

2 More Crop LO's :)

Hello Friends!

I have 2 more LOs to share from last weekend. I have been hanging onto these pics of LM for a few months and this Daisy Bucket paper even longer! He has recently discovered lollipops (as he calls them) and would gladly eat them for breakfast if I would let him-LOL.

I added googley eyes to this little guy (thanks T for the reccomendation!) and buttons galore-the space felt empty.Supplies: CS-Bazzill (Swiss Dot), pps-Daisy Bucket, Alphas-Scenic Route & Pink Paislee, Buttons-Assorted, Leaves-American Crafts, Metal rimmed tag-$1 Store.

* * * * * * * *
I was SO inspired by Bo Bunny's new line of die cut papers that I attempted to make my own on the below LO. This LO is of DH and LM at an outdoor even a few weeks ago.

Supplies: CS-Bazzill (& Swiss Dot), pps-Sassafras Lass, Creative Cafe, Border sticker-Pink Paislee, Owl Stamp-Michael's (Stazon Ink), Metal tag-$1 Store, Alphas-Scenic Route, Thickers (rain boot font), Buttons-American Crafts.

What a weekend!

Hello Friends!

Why does a weekend of scrapping boost my mojo but wipe me out? I had a SUPER-FUN time scrapping with my pal (the incredibly talented TraceyT) this weekend at a Scrapbooking Gone Wild crop in St George. I attribute my progress of 3 completed LOs (and a 4th that I started) to the fact that we arrived late and had to sit diagonally from each other. We still had plenty of oppertunity to LOL as we were trying not to yell at each other across the table-since I do NOT wear my glasses-I am ROTTEN at reading lips-so there were plenty of mis-communications and TONNES of laughing (at myself mostly).

Good food, good shopping, good scrapping & lots of laughs.
I TOTALLY needed it. Thanks, T!
* * * * * * * *
I will post this LO first (this was the one I was starting as the weekend was winding down). DH has a new found love of collecting arcade games and LM and I are dis-covering how much fun playing them together can be-we are HOOKED!
* * * * * * * *
Check out the cute little clay Pacman & ghost that I got from My Little Bit of Whimsy! So glad you suggested these, Steph! They were PERFECT for my LO!

Supply list: CS-Bazzill, Prism, sassafras lass-border & star sticker, Cherry sticker/ Alphas-American Crafts, buttons-Michaels DMC Floss

* * * * * * * *

This LO was based on a FAB sketch made by Kristine Davidson (exclusively for the crop). This LO is a RE-do but I am glad I did it. It's MUCH prettier the way it is now. I even got appplause for using bling (I have a MINOR fear of ruining it)

Supplies: CS-Kraft, paper-Making Memories, Basic Grey, Little Yellow Bicycle, Alphas-Scenic Route, Bling-Prima, Kaiser, Stamps-Autumn Leaves, Buttons-American crafts

* * * * * * *

Last but not least, I made this card for World Cardmaking day (LIITD Challenge) but didn't get it posted in time. YIKES!

I still thought I would share it though :)

Supplies: pp-My Mind's Eye, We R Memory Keepers, Tag-Creative cafe,, Journal card-GCD, Owl, greenery-MME, Button-K&Co, Alphas-Pink Paislee, DMC Floss

Thanks for popping by! Happy Tuesday!
