I MADE THIS!!! (yes I am yelling)

Hello Friends!
In celebration of my beautiful Little Man's 4th birthday, I attempted to make a gluten/dairy free Choo Choo Train Cake (Sounds YUMMY doesn't it?? It actually turned out quite good-people didn't even miss the gluten-LOL) I have NEVER even THOUGHT of attempting a birthday cake for my Little Guy (anyone who KNOWS me, knows that I am a disaster in the kitchen!). BUT I was totally inspired by the girls cake photos at both CMK and Paws so I went for it and am I ever glad that I did. My little boy was beaming from ear to ear (pics to follow!)
So thanks Paws and CMK Ladies! (you know who you are!)

*********************************
I have a few new projects too (one including my DH!!) and I am currently working on ANOTHER LO of him (well & me too!). Poor DH rarely gets scrapped BUT he likes it that way. VERY Camera shy! Thanks for stopping by and peeking :)

Yes, you HAVE seen this snowman before BUT I knew that when I woke up C-mas morning and he was nothing left but a snowball that I would have to do a before and after LO. I was trying a different style here. I think I might like it.

This LO went HORRIBLY wrong. Not sure if it's a keeper or not. I did it all on the Kaiser you see behind the stitched circles, hated it and cut around it, re-adhered it to TRUSTY ol' Black CARDSTOCK and added more circles. But I DO enjoy the journalling I did. TFL!!

This is a pic of my DH I took this summer. It's extremely difficult for me to get a pic of him not making a goofy face (on purpose-LOL). I suspect he didn't realize I was taking THIS pic. TFL!! pps-Heidi Swapp, LYB, Fancy Pants, Scenic Route

Happy Birthday Little Man!!

This is primarily a scrappy blog for me, but I gotta say this.

It does NOT seem like 4 years has passed THIS quickly!!

I can't imagine we went 32 years of our lives before we knew this beautiful, funny, smart, mischievious little soul whom we love more than words could EVER say.

Happy Birthday, Dude!
Love Momma & Daddy

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Wow! Where do the weekends GO?? Saturday I CLEANED like a maniac-Like SERIOUSLY. I made 2 loaves of bread, a beef stew (in my slowcooker), I cleaned out Little Man's room (and PURGED some old toys and clothes PLUS reorganized it). I swept, mopped, did a TON of laundry, dusted, even went after the dust bunnies under my bed-OH! and cleaned out my fridge. I told DH I was DONE on Sunday. NO housework for me and scrapped the afternoon away! Anyway, I am guessing that is how I missed the scraplift tag reveal at JustCre8. I have been waiting to post my LO and checking daily but NOT this weekend. LOL

Anyway, I went first- you should check out the amazing creations that followed (insert Drooly smilie here-LOL) http://justcre8.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6726 .

Here is my LO.

Happy New Year!

We had a FABULOUS New Year's Eve with some family at dinner & then friends over for drinks and to ring in the new year.

This is the LO for the challenge that I issued for Scraplovers for January-Scrapping your resolutions or goals.

I did this LO with papers from Creative Imaginations, Making Memories, Crate Paper Die cuts and corrugated cardboard I have been holding onto. I had ALOT of fun with this and will use card board again in the VERY near future.

Detail view of flowers. Included are primas, die cuts from Crate paper & punched blooms from Making Memories scraps from this LO. I used pop dots to add dimension.

My '9' for 2009.
:)

TFL & Happy New Year!
