Happy Easter!

What a beautiful day we are having today! The weather is gorgeous, it's a bit sunny with a warm breeze.
I am so glad we didn't get the rain they were calling for after all.

We were up bright and early this AM (6:00 to be precise =) Eek!)
and had our egg hunt. Unfortunately-the lighting was horrible and my darling Little Man wouldn't stop long enough for me to get a non-blurry photo.
It never dawned on me until MUCH later to use my flash.
I guess I am not at my sharpest at 6:00 am. :)
The below pic is the best I got-he is showing off his new Superman water bottle whilst striking some sort of super-hero pose ;)

This was the best I could do with photo editing-maybe
if I print them small enough, it won't be as bad. ;)

In the meantime, I did up a few holiday cards this week. I like cards but they seem to take me F.O.R.E.V.E.R!! and I still ended up trashing half of them.
I really struggle with cards sometimes.
These cards were easy peasy after I figured out where I wanted everything to go, however, and made several of each type.
I used this die cut sheet (by Cosmo Cricket)

which is a few seasons old but I got it at a great price (0.75/sheet at Scrap Your World) and bought several. They really suited my Easter needs with minimal work.
I also used up some of my ever growing pile of paper scraps and some short pieces of ribbon I had lying around.
That's all I have for today-we are off to a family outing (hopefully I can try a few more Easter poses with Little Man-aka. Flash ;)  I have some new bunny ears I am DYING to use!)
I hope you have a blessed and Happy Easter!

New York, New York

2 posts in 2 days??!!
Yep!

I did this LO about our NYC trip we took last fall-we went on one of those double decker bus tours, froze our backsides off & got some FABU shots on this clear day. We really loved this town!

This LO has a hodge podge of product-Lily Bee, My Mind's Eye, Echo Park. It's always a bit of a thrill when I find that 2 different manufacturers have matching lines-I loved how the Pink Paislee trim went with the Echo Park flowers :)

Paper-Lily Bee, Echo Park, Journal page-Making Memories, Trim-Pink Paislee, Suitcase die cut-Girl's Paperie, Kraft Doilies, Maya Road, Buttons-My MInd's Eye, Alphas (white)-Making Memories, (smaller) Echo Park.

Thanks again, for peeking in.

Kindergarten Photo

Hello Friends!
I finally finished a couple more pages last week & have finally gotten around to posting them-I swear my mojo is on VACA and I can't wait for it come back. Maybe when I get my Hip kit this week, I will be back on my way.

In the meantime, I got this GORGEOUS My Mind's Eye kit at C-mas time and never had the oppertunity to dive in until recently. It made putting this LO together easy peasy-I just LOVE these colorful papers. So fun and whimsical for my Little Man.

Papers, die cuts-My Mind's Eye, Clouds cut from American Crafts paper, beads from $1 Store.

Thanks for peeking in!
Have a Happy Monday!

2 Weeks...Well, almost.

Hello Friends!
HELP!!! ;)

For the first time in a VERRRRRY long time, I have not felt like scrappin'. AT ALL. Seriously-I had NO mojo. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero. I guess you get the drift. :(

I have had plenty of other things to keep me busy, mind you. I volunteer at school several times a week, we have had LOTS of days spent after school at the playground, I have been cleaning my poor neglected nest & started doing the 'couch to 5k' program (I got 5 days in on the treadmill last week and it felt so gooooooood to stretch, sweat and speed up this pulse of mine :) ) I hope I can be as committed next week.

And my scrappy 'fast' wasn't for lack of trying. I was surfing blogs & galleries-HARD. I scoured alot of my mags. Even went through my papers and did a purge. I had NO INSPO. And then Wednesday evening, something was there and I pulled out some papers. I started a LO & intended to finish it Thursday night & ended up sleeping a 11 hr stint with my baby boy (oh yeah-that's my other new past time these days-SLEEPING-what is THAT about??). Cuddles with him will put me to sleep everytime & I thought it was supposed to work the other way around. :) I finally got the rest of it put together yesterday and then mojo crept up on me a second time! So now, I have 2 LOs to share. Not sure how I am feeling about these- I had started out planning both LOs to be on white cardstock & having lots of negative space- but these are the end result.
 **My Baby Sister**

With 20 years between us, it kind of feels like she was my first 'baby' and she has always been very special to me. These pics are of her 10 years ago. She is graduating this year and I am so proud of her.

**Grampy's Boys**
This LO is one of those pictures that you MUST scrap. I just love the happy smile on my sweet FIL's face as my Little Man and Little nephew 'help' him blow out candles on his b-day cake.

Where do you go for fail-safe scrappy inspiration? I think I am in a rut and would LOVE to break out of it.
Please-please-PLEASE-share your tips (that is if anyone is still peeking in here ;) )
Have a GREAT weekend!
