Thankful. (part deux)

I like taking supplies that have a certain purpose or theme and trying to use them in different ways.
The below LO is using the Halloween line from Pink Paislee (the blue-ish pattern) but I hid the large caution sign in the center with a carefully placed piece of paper (again traced from a die cut & stitched)
I then arranged some accents around my photo but it still feels like it is missing something.
Hmmmmmmmmm.. What do you think?

I used to be anti-yellow but it is now one of my favorite colors to use when scrapping. :)

This was again using the October kit from Hip 2B Square.

Thanks for popping in-Happy FRIDAY!!

Fall in New York

Melanie Jarocki designed a FABULOUS 2 page sketch for us to accompany the October Hip 2B Square kit- it's a 2 pager and I LOVED it (which is WAY outside of my scrappy comfort zone)!
I made the LO below with it and I PROMISE it's not as curved as it looks. It was a bit bowed when I photographed it for some reason. Grrrrrrrrrrr!

This sketch was PERFECT for pics of our recent trip to NYC-I got a TONNE of pics on this one!

Thanks for stopping by-I still have ANOTHER LO to share later this week!
Happy Wednesday!

Halloween

I have some LOs to share with you from the October Hip 2B Square kit.
It is chock full of Graphic 45, October Afternoon, Pink Paislee & Basic Grey!
This kit also comes with a ribbon add-on which I had SO much fun with!
I hand cut the paper ribbon in narrow strips and adhered around the outside of my circle at various lengths & then stitched for a pretty frilled effect. Since I had my sewing machine out, I also stitched a border around the outside of my LO for a subtle effect.
I can't help it-I am addicted to matting my alphas now and sticking them with foam dots.
I wonder what my next obsession will be. ;)
I loved that this kit had 3 full sets of alphas (and a 4th set with the add-on). Variating alphas and fonts makes for interesting title-ing and can give your LO that added 'punch' (and is something that I do NOT do enough of!)

You can tell I was REALLY having fun with my corner rounders on this LO.
I also dug out my Cuttlebug and did some embossing (using a Sizzix texture plate)

Can you BELIEVE I still have 2 more LOs to share from this kit??!!
Check back later this week for a bit more eye candy.
Thanks for popping in!
Happy Monday!!

It`s Hip 2B Square

What a wonderful month November has turned out to be!
Can you believe I got to play with ALL of THIS from Hip2B Square?

And THEN there are the add ons (I got these too ;) )

I had SO Much fun playing with this kit - I got NINE projects out of it and I still have a tonne left!
Here are the cards that I did (I have since lost 1 though-NO idea where it went) AND a banner :)
You can check out the October kit HERE.

Spellbinders Nestabilities die cutters

This also uses the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug Embossing folder.

On this card, I used a Sizzix embossing folder & my new Martha Stewart punch.

Check back next week for some LOs that I got done with this FABULOUS kit!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great night!

Thankful.

Hello Scrappy Friends!!

If you just happened along here, we are having a My Little Shoebox bloghop today!!!
Yippeee!!
So-if you didn't start at the MLS blog, PLEASE go back and start there!
I'd hate for you to miss out on my scrappy team's creations.

So you should be arriving from June's blog-- wasn't her project just adorable??

Even though we celebrated Thanksgiving a month ago, I still find myself counting my blessings at this time of year and this little guy is always at the top of my list.
Let's just say, it wasn't hard for me to make a LO about all of the wonderful things he has brought into our lives.

Supplies: All papers, alphas, die cuts from My Little Shoebox.

I used a piece of die cut paper from my stash, traced & handcut out of the the woodgrain design from the Green line. I further emphasized the shape by matting on black cardstock & cutting with decorative scissors.

I am THANKFUL that you stopped by!
Now be sure to hop on over to Rocio and see what she has in store for you!
*************************

EDITED:
Also-if you hop to the end, you will find out how you can be eligible to WIN some new MLS!!!
So keep hoppin'!

Thanks again!!

This month's sketch comes to us from the oh-so-talented Melinda Spinks. If you are not familiar with her work-PLEASE! Check her out-she will blow your socks off with her attention to detail as well as her talent.

Without further ado-here is November's sketch:

And here is my LO which is using the DEVINE new Enchanted line from Imaginisce:

All supplies Imaginisce EXCEPT Border punch & medalion punch-Martha Stewart
Alphas-American Crafts and alpha beads-$1 Store.

As you can see, I had alot of fun with my I-Rock on this LO.
The crystal bling are the 3-6.5mm gems.
The white gems were used to add a bit more detail to the little flowers on the paper.
