I MADE THIS!!! (yes I am yelling)

Hello Friends!
In celebration of my beautiful Little Man's 4th birthday, I attempted to make a gluten/dairy free Choo Choo Train Cake (Sounds YUMMY doesn't it?? It actually turned out quite good-people didn't even miss the gluten-LOL) I have NEVER even THOUGHT of attempting a birthday cake for my Little Guy (anyone who KNOWS me, knows that I am a disaster in the kitchen!). BUT I was totally inspired by the girls cake photos at both CMK and Paws so I went for it and am I ever glad that I did. My little boy was beaming from ear to ear (pics to follow!)
So thanks Paws and CMK Ladies! (you know who you are!)

I have a few new projects too (one including my DH!!) and I am currently working on ANOTHER LO of him (well & me too!). Poor DH rarely gets scrapped BUT he likes it that way. VERY Camera shy! Thanks for stopping by and peeking :)

Yes, you HAVE seen this snowman before BUT I knew that when I woke up C-mas morning and he was nothing left but a snowball that I would have to do a before and after LO. I was trying a different style here. I think I might like it.
pps-Pink Paislee, We R Memory Keepers
Alphas-Am. Crafts
DMC floss

This LO went HORRIBLY wrong. Not sure if it's a keeper or not. I did it all on the Kaiser you see behind the stitched circles, hated it and cut around it, re-adhered it to TRUSTY ol' Black CARDSTOCK and added more circles. But I DO enjoy the journalling I did. TFL!!
pps-Kaiser, Scenic Route, American Crafts, Pink Paislee
Queen & Co Felt
Chipboard Robot-Riff Raff (which is SUBLIME I must say-GREAT quality!!)
White signo gel pen
Alphas-Making Memories, Am. Crafts

This is a pic of my DH I took this summer. It's extremely difficult for me to get a pic of him not making a goofy face (on purpose-LOL). I suspect he didn't realize I was taking THIS pic. TFL!! pps-Heidi Swapp, LYB, Fancy Pants, Scenic Route
Kaiser pearls
Artisan paper, bingo card-Jenni Bowlin
Chipboard-Scenic Route
Foam alphas-$1 store
Felt Trim-Creative Cafe
Thanks for coming by! Have a happy Wednesday!

Your cake is totally adorable!
I can only imagine how excited your little man was when he saw that cake!

Love your LO's!
The one you "messed up" I actually really like! Love all the circles!!!! Would making his photo into a circle be an option? Maybe that would help you like it more!

Cin, the a photo of this cake belongs in a cook book! HOLY is incredible. I bet LM's smile wasn't the only one that was wide on the big birthday!!! Can't wait to see the LOs.

Each and every one of these pages is wonderful. I always admire your attention to fine details.
