The Scrapbook Sussies kit goes on Sale on April 1 and WOW, what a kit it is!!

Jam packed with My Mind's Eye And the new American Craft's Dear Lizzy line-it's so bright and colorful. And it was TONNES of fun to play with!

Tombow ROCKS on ribbon!

I want to start off by saying that ever since I heard that Tombow adheres felt to paper several years ago and  tried it, I have been hooked ever since and ALWAYS keep it in my stash. You can imagine I was THRILLED to hear that Tombow and Imaginisce were partnering up this month :)

By using THIS glue, I was able to easily adhere my ribbon in a ruffled pattern on my paper.

The glue dries super fast and is really strong.

I added staples when I was done just to keep my ruffles in place.

I LOVE PAPER. Like -I LOVE it!

 I think I have MORE paper than any other kind of scrapbook supply-however- I like to challenge myself every once in awhile and use some of my other supplies.

On this LO, I used very little product: 1 piece of cardstock, rub-ons from the new Live Loud collection from Imaginisce, scraps of  ribbon scraps & Maya mist. I have to say that rubons are normally a struggle for me (I always manage to rip them, or only get half of it to adhere) but Imaginisce rubons go on like butter!

I am really happy with the way this layout turned out-in fact, I think it is new personal favorite. :)

Playing around with scraps AND stamps!

Would you call yourself a 'stamper'? I'm not. I REALLY wanna be and am TRYING but my stuff just always seems so basic with NO pizazz. SO I am on a quest to try harder and get better! I have dug out a few of those stamps that were too cute to pass up but were never used and lightened up my scrap pile while I was at it.

Live Loud

This month's DT work from Imaginisce is using the LIVE LOUD collection and OMWord, this paper is SO FUN! I suppose it could do with the fact that I LOVE scrapping with blue and orange :) ESPECIALLY for my Little Man.

Is today REALLY the 16th??

Yes, sadly it is. I thought it was the 15th and now, just realized it is not. The reason I am disappointed that I am just realizing it now is because I missed the cutoff for the Paper Crafts call. Maybe I will get my dates straight next time! UGH.

In the meantime, I will share my fave creations that I was planning on submitting here over the next few days. :)

I am going to start off with my FAVORITE card. I am not sure, this may be NO GOOD at all, but I love it.
I love bags/purses (I think most may know this about me), so when I read the PC Call for print themed cards/projects, I started 'googling' houndstooth print bags and came up with THIS gem:

I played around with some older Heidi Swapp papers and came up with this card version.

Imaginisce March Sketch Challenge

Now that the fabulousness of the Olympics is past, we can get back to normal (read: scrapping!).

The talented Erin Bassett put together this sketch for us and here is my take on it.
