Happy Sunday! I still have a couple more LOs to share from the LIITD reveal. :)

This is a series of pics I got of LM the last time I had a camera shoot. He LOVES making faces for the camera although I can rarely get him to smile 'nice'. He must take after Daddy! TFL
Supplies: ALL Basic Grey EXCEPT 'Boy' & phrase stickers-7Gypsies
Alphas-American Crafts Thickers and Making Memories Tiny alphas.
Crocheted flower made by my friend, Cheryl. Thanks Lady!!!

This is LM & DH waiting to get on an antique train at a train show a few weeks ago. TFL!

Supplies: Orange paper-7Gypsies, All others Basic Grey Max&Whiskers
Alphas-Basic Grey, Die cut -white Bazzill, Stickers, 7Gyspies, Black Chipboard-American crafts

Here, I glued a piece of orange paper to the underside of a CB frame and then cut into 2 pieces and adhered to the top corner for dimension. Scalloped edge is hand drawn and then fussy cut.

The Cat's Meow

This month at Love is in the Details, Lori had a FABULOUS idea of letting Melissa and I pick our OWN kits out! We compared a few notes and found we both wanted to play with the Max and Whiskers line. SO I went with that and mixed in a bit of 7Gypsies New Avignon line and some Basic Grey Basics for background and I think this might have been one of my fun-nest (yes I know that's NOT a word ;) ) scrappy experiences ever!
We are doing our reveal over 2 days, so I can share some now and will share more tomorrow :)

After picking this paper, I remembered I don't have a cat, so I used this expression that I am surre I have worn out over the years and I think it really works. :)

Layering my titles has become a new favorite scrappy technique of mine and is MUCH easier if you mat it on cardstock first and then fussy cut around it. I then pop-dotted it (another fave of mine) for depth.
I got these 'Boy' stickers from 7 Gypsies (they REALLY blended with the line well
with the M&W line) and this just cracked me up.

Thanks for popping by! I will have more to share tomorrow!

Sneaky peeks

Whew!! Where has the week gone?? I feel like I am wishing my life away (I really miss just doing NOTHING with my Little Man some days). Next week is the last week we are doing the pre-K program,so hopefully things will be back to 'normal' VERY soon. :) :)

In the meantime, I was lucky enough to get to pick some things out of the LIITD (Love is in the Details) shop this month (instead of having a kit to work with) and I had SO MUCH FUN! Please check back for new projects this weekend AND we are having a Board-Member organized on-line crop this weekend for those of us who couldn't make it to Lori's SUPER FUN CRop-so be sure to peek your head in and maybe post a LO or two!!

This Girl

This layout is actually a re-do. I used the same journalling, title and pics but used different papers instead. I am MUCH happier with this result and will NOT be needing to do the page again. :)

Supplies: Family Ties Paper Pad

I cut the blooms out, glued to black cardstock and then cut again leaving a thin black border. One surprisng benefit of using liquid glue is that it makes the ends of you paper curl up. This would normally annoy me a great deal but it looks beautiful on these flowers and gives some added dimension.

Lastly, I made a tag (isn't this adorable chipboard embellishment FABULOUS!!??) with paper & chipboard shapes from Momenta.

Here I am happy that my picture of these 2 simple cards caught the sweet embossed detail on the creme cardstock .
Using the Black Tie line.

Thanks for popping by! I will have new work to share this weekend so make sure to check back!

Surprise Party

I have a few Momenta projects that I have been working on using the Family Ties Super Paper Pad and the Endless Summer Paper Pad.
The Family Ties kit has SO MUCH in it that you could probably create at least FIFTY pages with it and never use the same paper combo twice.

This kit also includes these ROCKIN alphas (the fun sparkly alphas AND these fabulous minis)
Seriously, if you are looking to save a few cents AND use a FABULOUS line, this would be well worth it!
I am also going through my 'banner phase' LOL. I traced a Jenni Bowlin banner triangle and then used that as a template for this banner. I glued the triangles onto black cardstock and then trimmed a small border around them-then added foam dots and stitching.

This LO uses a beach themed paper line BUT I used it for this LO about Little Man and DH. I LOVE scrapping my boys in fun & bright colors (they are always so silly and playful together) and the color of this orange paper paired REALLY nicely with the robot embellies seen here.

Thanks for stopping by! I will have new projects to share tomorrow!

My Dream Come True

Hello Friends!!
Today is reveal day at Scrap Yourself and our challenge was to scrap your biggest (or hardest) decision in life.

I had a hard time pin pointing exactly what my 'biggest decision' in life was. And then I stopped and thought what is one of the most important things that has happened to me and that was to become a Mom, so I scrapped the decision that I made to have a child. Being a Mom has changed my life in ways I simply could not imagine-and ALL for the better!

Supply List: Papers-Making Memories (blue die cut), Basic Grey (background),
Little Yellow Bicycle (orange die cut), Prima packaging (green), My Little Shoebox (clouds),
Bazzill scalloped CS (white), Fabric alphas (Dream)-Prima, Ribbon-Offray,
Buttons-American Crafts, Tiny alphas-Kaiser, Sticker (Owl)-Reflections,
Pins-Singer, Bling-Kaiser, Black Zig Pen

I hope you can play along with us on this!!
Make sure to check out Scrap Yourself!
Happy Wednesday!

Imaginisce Sketch challenge for June!

Hey Everybody! Can you believe it is the first of June already? Where is this year going? My Baby Boy will be going to school this September and I am SURE I only **just** brought him home from the hospital! Everyone warned me the time would go quickly but I am surprised that it seems to be more like lightening speed (insert minor panic attack here). Luckily we have a few more months before that happens though. I am going to take it day by day and just enjoy him.

With the first of the month also comes the Imaginisce Sketch Challenge! I was unable to participate last month but I am excited to say I got a LO done for it this month!  Remember to stop by the Imaginisce blog for the sketch AND to check out the inspiration from the rest of my fabulous team-mates!

Supplies: Cardstock-Core'dinations (whitewash) & Bazzill (black),
Papers-Imaginisce (Twitterpated & Flirty Bird),
Alphas-Jenni Bowlin, Making Memories & American Crafts, Black Zig pen
Close up of the whitewash Coredinations-you can see how the orange color seeps through and just gives it a faint tinge. I also lightly sanded the edges to show the orange although it's kind of hard to tell in the picture.
