Busy, Busy, Busy

American Crafts gave me one of the bests 'gifts' this year and asked for our Summer assignments early. It is really wonderful to have this stuff done and submitted early (and with a GREAT reason, our DT Lead is having a baby next month and is SUPER DUPER organized. Congrats again, Paige!!) Now I have free time and no worries about squeezing in assignments before deadlines. I am SO relaxed this Summer, Little Man and I are getting out tonnes and playing - I am really enjoying myself and I think he is too :) :)

So far this year, we have seen fireworks, gone 'sightseeing' in our hometown (it's funny how you forget the little things that make your town so great over the years), had beach days, playground visits, crafts to do. We are going to the library and just spending LOADS of time just playing! You may also notice that I am not posting as many projects from Hip 2-B Square, Kimberley is letting me take on alternate months of kits which works out great for us both: I am getting every second month off and she's saving the crazy expensive shipping cost to me every other month.
Taken with my cell phone at the beach.

** Just realized I REALLY need to straighten out the horizon on this. EEK!

I also have a LO to share!
This is a LO that I was able to scrap, just because.
It's always fun (although a bit weird sometimes) just to pull out any paper
that I bought because I liked it and just mix it up with other manufacturer lines.

This is a LO about my Little Man's first proper hair cut
at 5 years old. I had always cut his hair at home which made him CRAZY wild.
I assumed this would be even worse at a haircutters and never bothered.
By chance, I happened to meet my Sister In Law taking my nephew for a haircut.
He and really looks up to his older cousin wanted 'faux hawk' hair, just
like him and sat still and let the hairstylist do her work.
I have been taking him for professional haircuts ever since.
YAY 4 US! :) :)
