SAHM

As soon as I 'finished' this LO, it went in the re-do pile.
I ruined it with my handwriting. I could have lived with it before that but as I have done SO many times, I put pen to paper and hate the results. I ended up putting a piece of kraft over the journalliing, so that you could lift it up to rerad but I still felt my LO was U to the G-L-Y. :(

You may have noticed that I kept some of the elements I was happy with the same (or only changed them the tiniest bit). I HID my journalling in a pocket. I kept the color scheme more on the plain side (mirroring my days as a Stay at Home Mom) and only added a few colourful elements. I also kept my title fairly similar, just shortened, really. I also carefully peeled of my pics AND re-used the happy little home-maker lady who seems to have just taken something special from the oven ;)
Supplies: American Crafts Cardstock, Simple Stories Papers, stickers, Pebbles Chipboard, ass't buttons, Cosmo CRicket phrase stickers, Echo Park chip board.

Thanks for stopping in!
Happy Thursday!

Silly girl! I think both layouts turned our brilliantly. Your work is great! I did not like my handwriting on layouts at first but now I'm getting use to it and have really grown to love that extra personal touch! I hand journal on almost every layout now.

With that being said - love the colors of this layout! The teal and yellow go together perfectly together. I love the vintage feel of it!

I love both versions and as a fellow hater of my own handwriting i'll say that printing my journalling on transparency has saved many of my LOs

cindy! You crack me up. A re-do pile . . . love it! Love both versions. Sometimes I hate how I ruin a layout with the journaling but since that is my favorite part of my pages I guess I should do that first. LOL :)
